WADE, Justice. Appeal by the natural mother from orders of the District Court granting the petitions for adoption of two of
her minor children. The facts in each adoption proceeding being the same except for minor differences relating to the children
and the different adoptive parents, the two matters were consolidated for appeal to this court. On August 31, 1950, appellant and her then husband, the father of the children involved herein were deprived of the custody
of their four children by an order of the Juvenile Court which found them unfit and improper persons to have the care, custody
and control of their children. The children were committed to the Utah State Department of Public Welfare for supervision,
treatment and foster home care under the continuing jurisdiction of the court and the father was ordered to pay $100 per month
for their care. This he failed to do.
